  •  Benefits

The Benefit Bank ® of South Carolina

The Benefit Bank ® of South Carolina (TBB-SC) uses technology and collaborations to improve the financial, health, and household stability of South Carolina families. TBB-SC is NOT a financial institution. We give people more access to a ‘bank’ of resources. We assist people in completing several different applications, for several different agencies--all in one place, all at one time and all during one interview.

No longer do people have to wait in line at several different agencies or figure out what benefits are available to them. TBB-SC connects people to resources through a web-based service in accessible places you likely already know and trust, like CL Seven, Inc.

In one interview, clients can complete applications for:

Medicaid ( including the Children’s Health Insurance Program) (CHIP)

Low Income Subsidy (LIS) (Rx Assistance)

State and Federal taxes (refunds returned within 10 days or less)

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly food stamps)

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Voter Registration

Lifeline (assistance with home phones)

Military and Veterans’ Benefits

Welvista (prescription assistance)

Professional Memberships

There are a number of watchdog agencies and interest groups working to ensure that our work adheres to strict industry standards. Our membership guarantees the best possible results for you.

We're proud to be a member of the following organizations:

  • Society of Certified Senior Advisors: Certified Senior Advisors (CSAs) have supplemented their individual professional licenses, credentials and education with knowledge about aging and working with seniors. It is recommended that you verify the validity of any professional’s credentials is which you conduct business and be sure you completely understand what those licenses, credentials and education signify.  The CSA certification alone does not imply expertise in financial, health or social matters. For more details visit: www.csa.us.
  • National Association of Certified Care Managers: As a NACCM-Certified Care Manager and CL Seven, Inc. employee, Ryan assists clients locally and nationally in finding the most appropriate care for those in need. Certified Care Managers have extensive training and experience working with older adults, people with disabilities, and families who need assistance with caregiving issues. They assist families in the search for a suitable nursing home placement or extended care if the need occurs. The role of care providers has captured a national spotlight, as generations of Baby Boomers age in the United States and abroad.

The mission of the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM) is to support a high level of competence in the practice of care management through the administration of a formal certification and recertification program.

NACCM’s purpose is to promote delivery of safe and effective care as a care manager and to advance the quality of care management services in long-term care through the certification of qualified care managers. For more information, please visit naccm.net.
